Commercial Director

In this role, you play a critical part in our ongoing investments in new service line development, office expansions, growing our staff, and engaging in merger and acquisition activities. Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of professional services experience, with a proven track record in the areas mentioned.
  • Strong presentation skills, capable of effectively communicating ideas and proposals to various stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in systems and Excel to conduct in-depth data analysis.
  • A commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and a results-driven approach to problem-solving.

Core Functions

  • Bids and Tenders: Oversee the bids and tenders process, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all submissions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare winning bids that align with our business goals.
  • Proposals: Manage the creation and submission of proposals to potential clients, showcasing our capabilities and value proposition. Ensure proposals are in line with company standards and tailored to client needs.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead and periodically update the commercial framework for negotiating and managing client contracts and service agreements.
  • Mitigate risks and maintain suitable margins and revenue protection.
  • Vendor Contracts: Review and provide advice on vendor contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company. Collaborate with vendors to establish strong partnerships.
  • Sales Support Materials: Develop and maintain sales support materials to aid our sales team in effectively communicating our offerings. Ensure that sales materials are up-to-date and aligned with our business objectives.
  • Product and Pricing Analysis: Conduct in-depth product and pricing analysis to optimize profitability and competitiveness. Make data-driven recommendations for pricing strategies and product enhancements.
  • CRM and Performance Dashboards: Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to monitor client relationships, track performance metrics, and identify growth opportunities. Create and maintain performance dashboards for data-driven decision-making.
  • Work in Progress Analysis: Analyze work in progress to ensure projects are on track and budgets are being met. Implement corrective actions when necessary to maintain project success.
